GV Playing Area State 60 & Over Singles

Wednesday 12th October saw the completion of the Over 60 Singles for the Goulburn Valley at East Shepparton in wet conditions under the cover of their new green.

Again, thanks to East Shepparton for the use of their facilities and to Jean Sprague on running the day.  Also, thanks to those who marked especially Jenni Hill for being there all day and to Keith Dudley for umpiring.

In the Ladies Over 60 Singles the winner was Shepparton Park’s Kate Bush who defeated club mate Marg Thorne 21/12 whilst in the Men’s Over 60 Singles the winner was Ash King who defeated Trevor Dunlop 21/15 with both coming from Shepparton Golf.
